About University

European University, established in 2012, is a dynamic higher education institution rooted in European values. With five modern educational buildings and a state-of-the-art dormitory accommodating over 4,000 students, the university offers a vibrant academic environment. It comprises five faculties, each dedicated to innovative teaching and practical learning:
1. Business and Technology: This faculty thrives on its highly qualified academic staff, who bring extensive practical experience to the classroom. This ensures that students’ theoretical knowledge is enriched with real-world applications, preparing them for the demands of the global market.
2. Law, Humanities, and Social Sciences: Home to the Law Institute, this faculty publishes the international scientific journal *Law and the World* and has established cooperation agreements with universities and organizations worldwide. The faculty also operates a Legal Aid Center, where undergraduate students, guided by experienced lawyers, provide legal advice and support to the community.
3. Medicine: Established in 2014, the Faculty of Medicine is equipped with cutting-edge laboratories and offers students access to 40 clinical bases. Students gain hands-on experience at the Jo Ann University Hospital, owned by European University, ensuring they are well-prepared for their medical careers.
4. Dentistry: This faculty is equipped with advanced digital technology-based learning resources, laboratories, and simulation centers. Students enhance their practical skills at the university-owned EU Dent Dental Clinic and have opportunities for extracurricular clinical practice, ensuring comprehensive training.
5. Veterinary Medicine: Addressing a market need for young professionals in Georgia, this faculty provides students with hands-on experience from their first year. Students work on real-world cases, gaining practical skills that are essential for their future careers.
The Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry offer programs in both Georgian and English, catering to a diverse student body. European University is a key player in Georgian higher education, maintaining strong collaborations with around 100 international institutions across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
The university has been recognized twice for its international projects and actively participates in EU-funded initiatives. Its faculty members, trained at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, have secured international grants and published impactful research.
